  I’ve been painting with watercolor for a few decades now. I love layering the colors to make them seem deeper than watercolor normally looks. Each layer of color has to be allowed to dry before another in used, so this method takes a long time. I would say this painting took a couple weeks to complete.
  
  This is an original watercolor painting on paper. I took the photo of several young gymnasts waiting for a tournament from different angles. I used several of the photos, picking the girls from the back angle so that these girls could be anyone’s child. I loved painting this because the girls were so cute and excited to compete. It was a fun painting to create and to make colors pop. I would love to see it find a nice home.
  
  The paper is 15” x 22”, large enough to offset a large room or put over the fireplace or couch.
  
  This painting is being sold unframed for ease of shipping.
