  This is an original Collage on paper created by gluing torn and cut pieces of magazines, calendars, and catalogs on paper. I start by drawing the picture on heavy paper and begin searching for just the right colors for each image. It takes quite some time usually. I can safely say I spent 20 hours on this one.
  
  This picture is from a photo of a couple of girls at a lake that I got from a free photo site and thought was interesting. I love creating collage because it is difficult and distinctive. Also, I feel very good about repurposing things normally thrown away, destined to take up space in some landfill. This was a fun painting to create and to make the colors pop. I would love to see it find a nice home.
  
  The paper is 17.5” x 23”, large enough to offset a large room or put over the fireplace or couch.
  
  This painting is being sold unframed for ease of shipping.
  
  My suggestion is the buyer should have it matted with a white or cream matte at least 2 inches wide on all sides to offset the frame and picture. These collages should never touch the glass, as that would cause the paper to discolor over time. The frame can be metal or wood but needs glass or Plexiglas to protect the collage from air and dust.
